Z-Sweep
About
Z-Sweep is an unstructured volume rendering algorithm that is both memory and time efficient. By incrementally advancing a view-orthogonal plane through the data, cell intersections can be tested and individually projected to the viewer and composited. The result is a fast and accurate volume rendering.
